## About
Nesrine Belmokh (née en 1982) est une artiste franco-algérienne, chanteuse, violoncelliste et auteure-compositrice.
Elle explore un univers musical entre pop, world music et classique, porté par sa voix et son violoncelle.
Issue d'une famille de mélomanes d'origine algérienne, elle a grandi à Douai où ses parents tenaient une association culturelle.
À six ans, elle entre dans une école à tiers temps musical, révélant une oreille absolue et un talent prodigieux.
Elle réside aujourd'hui à Paris.

## Formation & Parcours
Formée au violoncelle classique à Marseille, Lyon et Genève.
A joué au sein du East-Western Divan Orchestra dirigé par Daniel Barenboim.
Lorin Maazel la fait entrer dans l'Orchestre de l'Opéra de Valence, qu'elle intègre aussi sous la direction de Zubin Mehta.
Rôle principal au Cirque du Soleil dans le spectacle Amaluna (tournée mondiale, 2012).
Membre fondatrice du trio NES.

## About
Nesrine Belmokh (born 1982) is a Franco-Algerian artist — singer, cellist, and singer-songwriter.
She explores a musical universe spanning pop, world music, and classical, carried by her voice and cello.
From a music-loving family of Algerian origin, she grew up in Douai (France) where her parents ran a cultural association.
At the age of six she entered a music-focused school, revealing perfect pitch and extraordinary talent.
She now lives and creates in Paris.

## Training & Career
Trained in classical cello in Marseille, Lyon and Geneva.
Performed with the East-Western Divan Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim.
Lorin Maazel brought her into the Valencia Opera Orchestra, where she also performed under Zubin Mehta.
Lead role at Cirque du Soleil in the show Amaluna (world tour, 2012).
Founding member of the NES trio.
